Student Reset Workshop
A practical session introducing stress, the nervous system, breath awareness, movement and simple reset tools students can use before exams, presentations, performances or difficult moments.
For secondary schools, colleges and international education communities
Phoenix Breathwork delivers engaging school workshops, immersive headset experiences and teacher upskilling that help students and staff regulate stress, shift state, build confidence and reconnect through breath, movement, music and embodied learning.
Students learn simple tools they can feel in their bodies and remember afterwards.
Our sessions translate nervous system education into lived experience. Teenagers learn how to notice activation, slow down, move energy, breathe with intention and come back into connection without needing to talk publicly about personal material.
Practical self-regulation for exams, transitions, anxiety and everyday overwhelm.
Music-led embodied learning that keeps students engaged without forcing disclosure.
Group experiences designed to build confidence, belonging and emotional resilience.
Sessions can be adapted for transition years, sixth form, exam-year support, student retreats, wellbeing weeks, international schools, staff development days and teacher CPD.

A larger immersive format using silent-disco headsets, guided breath, music and reflection. Memorable, structured and highly engaging for retreats, wellbeing weeks and senior assemblies.
A restorative nervous system reset for teachers, tutors and pastoral teams, supporting decompression, connection and sustainable emotional energy in demanding school environments.
Practical training for teachers, wellbeing leads and pastoral teams in safe, simple breathwork and nervous system tools they can use in classrooms, tutor time, wellbeing programmes and exam season.
Teacher training and CPD
This option is designed for schools that want more than a once-off wellbeing day. We train teachers to understand stress through a simple nervous-system lens and give them short, safe practices they can bring into real school moments: before exams, after conflict, during tutor time, in pastoral support, or when a class needs to settle.
The focus is not turning teachers into therapists. It is giving staff a clear, age-appropriate toolkit for regulation, confidence and emotional resilience inside the normal rhythm of school life.
Phoenix sits between a workshop, a music experience and an emotional resilience training. The tone is mature, practical and engaging enough for teenagers who can smell a dull wellbeing talk from a mile away.
Phoenix brings the scale and energy of an immersive wellbeing event into the structure and care schools need.
Phoenix Breathwork was founded by James McCauley, a PGCE-qualified educator and international breathwork facilitator whose background spans international school teaching, youth development, summer camps, yoga, social circus and large-scale group wellbeing experiences.
His academic work explored international development, education and social capital through social circus, giving Phoenix a rare blend of educational grounding, embodied facilitation and group engagement.
Sessions are trauma-aware, opt-in and designed around practical self-regulation. Students are never asked to disclose personal material, and all practices can be adjusted for year group, group size, school culture and safeguarding requirements.
We can work alongside safeguarding teams, wellbeing leads, TY coordinators, house systems and student support staff to shape the right format for secondary students.
Tell us your year group, number of students, preferred dates and whether you are planning a wellbeing week, TY retreat, sixth form session, exam support session, staff day, teacher CPD training or larger immersive experience.
